Description
Goh's Scorbunny began as a wild Pokémon in Wyndon, Galar, surviving alongside Nickit by stealing food. It led the group, teaching them stealth techniques to avoid detection while providing for them, establishing a resourceful yet solitary life before meeting its trainer.

During a Galar investigation, Scorbunny encountered Ash and Goh after Nickit stole Ash's bag. Pikachu defeated Scorbunny in battle, prompting it to kick Ash defensively. Goh intervened by falsely claiming Scorbunny as his own to shield it from an angry café owner, marking their first significant interaction. Inspired by Goh's speech about transcending its circumstances through determination, Scorbunny initially stayed behind—until the Nickit encouraged it to pursue this new path, physically pushing it onto Goh's departing train.

Scorbunny then trailed the train through the Wild Area, enduring harsh terrain to reach Goh. It proved its loyalty during a crisis involving a Dynamaxed Snorlax, where decisive actions helped prevent disaster. This solidified their bond, leading Goh to officially accept it as his first Pokémon partner despite originally reserving that role for Mew.

Initially energetic and attention-seeking, Scorbunny often showboated, disliked being ignored, and playfully teased Ash with signature kicks. It retained a considerate nature, secretly feeding hungry Pokémon. Its camaraderie with Goh featured enthusiastic high-fives using its feet.

Conflict arose when Scorbunny sought to learn a Fire-type move like Ember. Goh discouraged training, deeming Quick Attack and Double Kick sufficient while fearing injury, straining their relationship over differing growth perspectives. Scorbunny resolved this partially by devising a method to channel heat through its feet into rocks, creating fiery projectiles—triggering its evolution into Raboot.

As Raboot, its personality shifted to reserved and emotionally distant. It ceased initiating physical affection with Goh, often leaned alone against walls, and suppressed outward care—though concern for Goh and others persisted. Raboot formed a protective, sibling-like bond with Goh’s Sobble, comforting it during distress and carrying it on its shoulder or in its arms. Its friendship with Ash’s Pikachu continued but grew less playful, preferring to watch battles intently.

Tensions resurged when Raboot ignored Goh’s commands in battles. They reconciled during a dance-themed competition where Goh participated actively to support it. This shared effort forged mutual understanding: Goh accepted its need for solitude, and Raboot acknowledged his care. Repaired trust facilitated its final evolution into Cinderace. Post-evolution, it regained an expressive, cheerful demeanor, enthusiastically resuming signature high-fives with Goh.
