Description
Sadaharu Kamo sports neck-length olive-green hair with face-framing bangs, orange eyes, and distinctive oval-shaped, semi-rimless glasses. His standard attire is a Seishun Academy uniform: a blue collared shirt, dark blue slacks fastened with a brown belt, and brown shoes, always worn without a necktie.

A mild-mannered yet eccentric otaku, Sadaharu immerses himself in manga, anime, and video games. He frequently provides comic relief, defusing tense moments by invoking Japanese media tropes. Possessing a vivid imagination, he often visualizes fantastical scenarios—supersonic sprints, instant costume changes, dramatic spotlights—occasionally breaking the fourth wall. His speech mirrors anime narration with exaggerated theatricality, though he can shift to seriousness when needed, usually reverting quickly to humor.

Like his best friend Jirō Yakuin, Sadaharu avoids real-life romantic relationships, openly preferring "2D" women to sidestep emotional pain. He simultaneously expresses overt attraction to girls without shame, often embarrassing Jirō. Beneath his eccentricity lies genuine kindness; he proactively helps others, exemplified by conspiring with Jirō and Mei Hamano to rig Test of Courage pairings for Jirō's benefit and later advising Jirō on the wider consequences of switching practice partners.

His background is largely undefined, known only for befriending Jirō after Shiori Sakurazaka moved away and enrolling together at Seishun Academy. He has an older brother, Keiichiro Kamo, who runs a café. Their relationship is amicable but distant, with Sadaharu helping recruit workers for Keiichiro's beach café despite minimal interaction.

Sadaharu shares a close bond with Jirō, rooted in shared interests and social struggles. They playfully tease each other about romantic lives, though Sadaharu offers cryptic, well-intentioned advice during Jirō's dilemmas. Paired with Sachi Takamiya for the "Marriage Practical," they develop a functional rapport despite her initial insults and contrasting personalities, collaborating in study groups and her offering him snacks. He interacts amiably with Natsumi Ōhashi, who calls him "Glasses-kun" and remains unfazed by his quirks during partnered tasks. His interactions with Mei Hamano involve mutual assistance, like rigging the Test of Courage, though she initially found his behavior off-putting.

Through these experiences, Sadaharu shows subtle growth. His partnership with Sachi gradually increases his comfort around women. Supporting Jirō's evolving relationship choices reflects heightened emotional awareness, such as recognizing the impact of partner switches on everyone involved. While retaining his core comedic and imaginative traits, these interactions suggest gradual maturation in navigating interpersonal dynamics.
