Description
Rodrigo Briscoletti, a portly middle-aged man with a balding crown and hair swept upward at the sides, sports a plump goatee that lends his face an unintentional demonic semblance. His opulent robes and glittering jewels underscore his vast fortune. A resident of Mostroferrato, Rodrigo thrives as a wealthy magnate, commanding a fleet of merchant ships. Despite his imposing appearance, he exudes unassuming generosity, prioritizing charity and cherishing family above all. He adores his wife, Romana, and dotes on his daughter Nera, whom he fondly nicknames his "precious little bambina." His younger daughter, Debora, earns his quiet disapproval, deemed too entitled and difficult to wed.

When the protagonist Luca seeks to marry Nera, Rodrigo sets a daunting challenge: slay Bjørn the Behemoose, guardian of the stolen Zenithian Sword. After Luca triumphs with aid from Bianca—choosing her as his bride instead—Rodrigo embraces the union, gifting the legendary sword to honor their vows. His choices mirror unwavering loyalty to kin, humility despite his status, and a steadfast belief in kindness as the measure of one’s character.
