Description
Kanzo Hattori, also known as Hattori or Hattori-kun, is an 11-year-old ninja from the Iga Clan, born on May 5, 1970. Standing approximately 140 cm tall and weighing around 40 kg, he is the son of Jinchu Hattori and Mrs. Hattori, the elder brother of Shinzo Hattori, and owner of the ninja dog Shishimaru. He is a descendant of the historical ninja Hattori Hanzo. Hattori left his home in Iga Province to train in Tokyo, joining the Mitsuba household as a foster brother to Kenichi Mitsuba and forming a close bond with the family.
Hattori possesses fair skin, acorn-shaped eyes, and distinctive spirals on his cheeks. His permanent attire consists of blue ninja robes featuring a v-neck blue hoodie shirt over yellow cross-shaped full sleeves, blue pants, a red ribbon belt, and traditional Japanese sandals. He always carries a steel sword on his back and rarely removes his signature blue hood.
Personality-wise, Hattori is disciplined, strict, and staunchly adheres to ninja principles. He naturally commands respect as a leader but can be overbearing, particularly towards his brother Shinzo, Shishimaru, or Kenichi. Despite frequent arguments, he deeply cares for his family and friends, often assisting Kenichi with personal or academic challenges. He is shy around girls, especially his classmate Tsubame, with whom he shares a mutual but secret romantic interest.
