Shijaku became a warrior and ascended to admiral in an unspecified nation, renowned for combat prowess and leadership. During service, he encountered Enshou, prince of the militant planet Burei. Though rivals, mutual respect formed between them. After Enshou's wife and unborn child perished in an Altana Gate explosion orchestrated by the Tendoshu, Shijaku allied with Enshou to co-found the Altana Liberation Army, aiming to free oppressed planets from Tendoshu control. Prioritizing his planet's welfare, Shijaku displayed reason and responsibility—traits contrasting his brothers' incompetence.
