Takuto Tatsunagi, scion of the Tatsunagi family, holds humanity's closest bond to Planet Cray. This lineage mandates he maintain balance between both worlds by identifying worthy fighters and bestowing the bridging psychic power PSYqualia. As Cray's emissary, Takuto monitors fighters and intervenes in conflicts threatening Earth and Cray. He manipulates events to resolve Cray's wars, including the War of Shadows and War of Liberation, frequently orchestrating large-scale tournaments like the Asia Circuit. His family's immense wealth funds global Vanguard events to facilitate these duties. His methods involve profound ethical compromises. Takuto forcibly kidnapped three young girls, erased their memories, and renamed them Suiko, Kourin, and Rekka Tatsunagi. Branded "Ultra Rare," this pop group served as his covert operatives, conducting surveillance, combat, and acting as vessels for his consciousness—demonstrated when he possessed Rekka during Aichi Sendou and Ren Suzugamori's climactic fight. Though Takuto later permitted them schooling and a semblance of normal life, the origins of their servitude and memory manipulation remained unaddressed. During Season 1, Takuto granted PSYqualia to Aichi Sendou and Ren Suzugamori to end the Royal-Shadow Paladin war on Cray, withholding it from Toshiki Kai due to Kagero's non-involvement. In Season 2's Asia Circuit arc, he altered reality, erasing the Royal Paladin, Shadow Paladin, and Kagero clans from Earth after their leaders were captured on Cray, replacing them with Gold Paladin and Narukami decks—leaving only Aichi aware. Takuto organized the Asia Circuit to select leaders for rescuing the clans, but Team Dreadnought's Leon Soryu betrayed him. Leon allied with Void, sacrificing the captured clans to free his Aqua Force clan. Aichi ultimately resolved the conflict, freeing the clans and restoring balance. In Season 3 (Link Joker arc), Takuto was possessed by Void's emissary after Link Joker exploited his Cray connection, transforming him and Ultra Rare into "Яeversed" fighters spreading Void's influence globally. Яeversed Takuto imprisoned his original consciousness, manipulated Kai into accepting Яeversal, and oversaw the worldwide invasion. His original spirit covertly aided Leon and Aichi, providing Aichi an anti-Link Joker card. In their final confrontation, Яeversed Takuto used Star-Vader, "Omega" Glendios to defeat and absorb his original self. Aichi defeated Яeversed Takuto using the card, severing Link Joker's Earth connection and freeing all Яeversed fighters. Post-defeat, Void implanted a "seed" for future resurgence into Aichi, leaving Takuto's body purposeless. In the movie *Neon Messiah*, Takuto returned via the Origin Shrine's power to recruit fighters capable of awakening Harmonics Messiah to stop the Deletors from destroying Earth and Cray. In the V Series reboot, he served as the "Concert Master," bridging Earth and Cray as envoy of Incandescent Lion, Blond Ezel. After being "Deleted" by Kouji Ibuki, severing his link to Ezel, he became the "Destiny Conductor" under Wandering Starhulk Ruler, Brandt's control. Brandt used Takuto's body to manipulate strong fighters into destroying Cray. His brother, Nome Tatsunagi, succeeded him as head of the Tatsunagi Foundation. In the spin-off *Extra Story -IF-*, Takuto investigated timeline distortions but was captured and imprisoned by Aichi Sendou. Takuto exhibits subtle character shifts, developing paternal feelings for Ultra Rare and expressing gratitude to Aichi post-Asia Circuit. Yet his core neutrality persists: he prioritizes Cray's stability over Earth's well-being, justifying memory manipulation and forced servitude as necessary for cosmic balance. His connection to Blond Ezel manifests through shared physical markings and consciousness, though their exact relationship remains undefined.
