Zoltan Akkanen, a Cyber-Newtype engineered by the Republic of Zeon as a successor to Full Frontal, emerges from a flawed initiative to replicate Char Aznable’s legacy. Volatile and unhinged, Zoltan operates with callous indifference to civilian lives, exemplified by his reckless bombardment of a populated colony during a pursuit of the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex. Piloting the unrefined MSN-06S-2 Sinanju Stein and later the NZ-999 II Neo Zeong—a psycho-frame-enhanced mobile armor—he escalates conflicts to apocalyptic scales, driven by desperation to erase his status as a "failed clone."
