Description
Trito is a Pokémon researcher based in Fula City, hindered by social anxiety and a lack of confidence that causes him to avoid direct communication. His nervousness manifests physically through sweating and a tendency to hide behind his long hair, which obscures one eye. Despite his expertise, he requires emotional support Pokémon like Chansey during stressful encounters.

His specialized research focuses on Pokémon biology and behavior, particularly moves like Sweet Scent and Effect Spore. This work becomes unexpectedly pivotal when Team Rocket targets his lab; the theft of his Effect Spore sample directly triggers the ecological crisis threatening Fula City, casting him as the unwitting instigator.

Seeking to bypass public speaking, Trito strikes a deal with Callahan: assistance in winning a Pokémon catching contest in exchange for Callahan delivering his scientific presentation. This arrangement collapses when Callahan abandons his commitment. Forced to present alone, Trito accidentally projects footage revealing his contest assistance, exposing Callahan's deceit and causing Kelly distress.

The fallout pushes Trito to confront his fears. Retreating after the presentation debacle, he overhears colleagues criticizing his social shortcomings, missing their later defenses of his scientific merit. This reinforces his insecurities but also sparks motivation.

Facing the escalating Effect Spore emergency, Trito applies his unique knowledge to synthesize an antidote. He resourcefully utilizes available materials, including Team Rocket's abandoned Lum Berries, overcoming equipment failures caused by the spreading fire. Demonstrating newfound initiative, he personally delivers the antidote to the endangered wind power plant.

His character arc culminates in observable change: he sweeps his hair away from his face, signaling growing self-assurance. His expertise proves crucial in resolving the crisis, and he actively joins Fula City's citizens in the collective effort to save their home.
