Description
Enriqueta, an elderly Fula City resident, harbors deep-seated animosity toward Pokémon after a traumatic event 50 years ago. During a forest fire sparked by humans clearing land for Zeraora, she raced to save her Snubbull trapped in a burning windmill. Her Snubbull died retrieving a turbine activation key while Enriqueta sustained permanent hand burns. This loss cemented her lifelong emotional detachment from Pokémon.

She perpetually wears a conspicuous glove over her injured hand regardless of weather. Her hostility manifests in actions like brandishing her cane to shoo away a Sunflora near flowers. An accidental Sweet Scent exposure at a Pokémon lab causes swarms of Pokémon to follow her, amplifying her visible agitation.

Her perspective shifts during Fula City’s Wind Festival crisis. Witnessing another forest fire triggers traumatic collapse, but forced collaboration with humans and proximity to Pokémon gradually soften her stance. At the climax, she operates the city’s wind turbine alongside Pokémon to resolve the disaster, symbolically reconciling with her past. This culminates in her accepting Pokémon’s presence, signaling resolution.
