Movie
Description
Risa, a hesitant high school student inexperienced with Pokémon, reluctantly agrees to her bedridden brother Rick's request to attend Fula City's Wind Festival and catch an Eevee for him, despite her lack of confidence.

A former regional track champion, Risa stopped running after pushing too hard caused a competition leg injury. This experience left lingering hesitation affecting her willingness to engage physically or take risks.

Physically, she displays a distinctive style featuring makeup, multicolored hair, and accessories like Rick's sunglasses. Her arduous mountain search for a rare Pokémon leaves her exhausted and disheveled, her makeup running and smearing.

Following Callahan's tip about a rare forest Pokémon proves fruitless and draining. Later, encountering Ash, she asks for his help capturing an Eevee. Guided by Ash and Pikachu, she successfully catches an Eevee outside the city, marking her first capture and beginning to rebuild her confidence.

A pivotal moment occurs when Eevee is injured in a panicked crowd. Risa instinctively runs at full speed to rescue it, reclaiming her athleticism and confronting her past trauma.

During the film's climax, as poisonous spores and fire threaten Fula City, Risa volunteers for a critical task despite her fear of heights. She carries the Eternal Flame up a tall tower to signal Lugia for help, navigating ladders and heights to contribute to the city's salvation.

Her relationship with Rick includes a post-credits revelation: Risa discovers Rick secretly hosts the "Pokémon Channel," reporting on the festival while hiding his condition, and confronts him about this deception and his hidden role.

Throughout her journey, Risa evolves from a hesitant individual burdened by past failures into a proactive participant. She learns to trust her physical capabilities, develops a bond with Eevee, and contributes significantly during the crisis.
