Description
Kagachi arrives at Fula City’s Wind Festival alongside his sister Mia and niece Kellie, masking his insecurities with compulsive lies. He spins grandiose tales of being a celebrated Pokémon Trainer, fabricating skills he lacks to uphold Kellie’s unwavering admiration. When Kellie urges him to join the Pokémon Catch Race, he reluctantly partners with Toren, a shy researcher, exchanging covert competition guidance for delivering Toren’s presentation. With real-time advice via earpiece, Kagachi secures victory—only for leaked footage of the deception to shatter Kellie’s trust, leaving him guilt-ridden.

Haunted by shame, he discards his empty Poké Ball but encounters Sudowoodo, a Pokémon he earlier saved from a Golduck. Despite initially pushing it away, Kagachi eventually accepts its steadfast loyalty, formally capturing it. This partnership sparks his shift toward authenticity.

When toxic spores and wildfires threaten Fula City, Kagachi’s mechanical expertise and precise aim prove vital. He reignites a derelict power plant’s turbine and hurls a cure into the windmill, neutralizing the spores. These actions, fueled by his desire to protect immunocompromised Kellie, cement his growth from deceitful storyteller to selfless problem-solver.

Reconciling with Mia and Kellie, Kagachi attends the festival’s finale, vowing to abandon falsehoods. His journey, once defined by empty boasts, now hinges on honesty—and the unyielding support of Sudowoodo.
