Movie
Description
Maître Zoria, Head Warrior of the Celestial Clan and father to Solaad, possesses a muscular physique marked by blue eyes, long spiked hair, and a long beard. Short wings emerge from his back, characteristic of his people. He wears a beige singlet featuring a scale-like neck pattern, bronze chalet armor protecting his elbows, long blue pants adorned with a light blue stripe, and sandals.
Zoria enforces the Celestial Clan's laws and traditions with rigid commitment, prioritizing rules above complex moral choices. The death of his wife at demon hands during a conflict with the Demon Clan a millennium ago ignited his profound hatred for demons and intensified his obsession with upholding Celestial law. This trauma drove him to pressure Solaad into becoming his successor as Head Warrior.
When Solaad fled the Sky Temple, Zoria dispatched soldiers to retrieve him. Mistaking Meliodas for Solaad upon the Sins' arrival, Zoria imprisoned Meliodas. Consumed by anger and believing Solaad conspired with demons, Zoria disowned his son. Later, facing the demon Dahaaka, Zoria faced defeat until Meliodas intervened, challenging Zoria's deep-seated prejudices, though he remained bound by clan law.
During Solaad's succession ceremony, the Six Knights of Black attacked, releasing sealed demons. Zoria took up the Winged Sword to aid Meliodas against Bellion, severing the demon's arm before being stabbed. Manipulated by Bellion, Zoria inadvertently impaled Meliodas with the sacred blade. After healing by Ellatte, Zoria realized Meliodas was not Solaad. Despite acknowledging the Seven Deadly Sins' aid, Zoria insisted on executing Meliodas when the Winged Sword revealed his demonic nature, citing clan law. Solaad's defiant act to save Meliodas finally prompted Zoria to recognize his son's courage and growth.
Zoria later contributed his Ark power alongside fellow Celestials, enabling Solaad to seal the demon Baruja. In the aftermath, he reconciled with Solaad, expressing pride in his son's maturity and acknowledging Solaad's mother would have been proud.
As Head Warrior, Zoria commands the flight capability innate to Celestials and stands as a formidable warrior, claiming sixty-five lesser demon kills. His primary combat ability is Ark, a purifying light technique that disintegrates darkness. He wields the Winged Sword, a sacred weapon potent against demons.
His relationships include a profound, loving bond with his deceased wife, whose loss shaped his path. His relationship with Solaad evolved from stern expectation to mutual respect and reconciliation after Solaad's defiance proved his integrity. Zoria's initial distrust of Meliodas shifted to reluctant gratitude following Meliodas' actions protecting the Celestials.
