Description
Shinichirō Yamamoto, a first-year Mechanical Engineering student at Izu University, sports a chubby frame and short red-brown hair parted neatly at the center. His wardrobe favors a relaxed rotation of plain t-shirts, oversized sweatshirts, and comfortable sweatpants. Driven by an obsessive fixation on finding a girlfriend and losing his virginity, this quest dominates his social interactions and priorities, often overshadowing other pursuits.

His dynamic with classmate Yū Mitarai simmers with quiet resentment, fueled by Mitarai’s enviable romantic relationship—a constant reminder of Yamamoto’s unfulfilled aspirations. This friction sharpens his tunnel-vision focus on achieving romantic validation.

The kanji in Shinichirō’s name—真 (“real”), 一 (“one”), and 郎 (“son”)—pair with the surname Yamamoto (山 “mountain,” 本 “origin”), grounding his identity in contrasts: earnest ambition and mundane reality.
