Description
Hyakinthos Clio stands tall with a slender frame, his smooth, almost feminine skin and refined beauty often drawing comparisons to an Elf. Long, well-groomed brown hair is typically secured in a ponytail, framing piercing bluish-gray eyes. He wears the Apollo Familia uniform, accentuated by gold earrings and a white cloak, while his combat attire features distinct white coloring and visible sword hilts at his waist.

His personality centers on fervent, unwavering devotion to the god Apollo. This loyalty manifests as intense jealousy toward anyone capturing Apollo's attention, particularly Bell Cranel. Hyakinthos carries himself with pride, frequently looking down on adversaries and displaying satisfaction in his combat superiority. A ruthless streak surfaces in his actions, such as his intent to inflict excessive suffering on Bell after defeating him, halted only by external intervention. Despite this audacity, he retains enough reason to avoid recklessness, choosing retreat over confronting vastly stronger foes like Bete Loga.

As a Level 3 adventurer, Hyakinthos wields significant combat prowess. His primary weapon is the prominent **Sun's Flamberge**, a sword glowing like solar prominence that symbolizes his former captaincy; he also carries the **Short Sword of Intimacy**. His signature magic, **Aro Zephyros**, conjures a fiery disc that homes in on targets and explodes upon command, overpowering lower-level fire magic like Bell's Firebolt. His Development Abilities are **Hunter**, enhancing effectiveness against previously encountered monsters, and **Abnormal Resistance**, which nullifies status ailments like poison.

His narrative prominence occurs during the Apollo Familia's conflict with the Hestia Familia. Ordered by Apollo to capture Bell, Hyakinthos leads assaults fueled by personal hatred stemming from jealousy over Apollo's obsession. During a skirmish, he severely injures Bell and nearly kills him before being thwarted by Naaza of the Miach Familia. This conflict culminates in a War Game where Bell defeats Hyakinthos, shattering the Sun's Flamberge. Following the Apollo Familia's loss, Hyakinthos chooses exile alongside Apollo when the god is banished from Orario, disregarding the Guild's objections.

His character draws thematic inspiration from Greek mythology: his name references **Hyacinthus**, Apollo's lover, while his magic **Aro Zephyros** alludes to Zephyrus, the west wind whose jealousy caused Hyacinthus's death.
