Description
Enzo Bron, born in Lyons, France to geographer Alan Bron and Italian screenwriter-actress Renata Ricorellino, graduated from École Polytechnique. He relocated to America, conducting research at Stanford University before co-founding the IT conglomerate Shake Hanz Corporation with colleagues. Headquarters were established on Orig Island. Enzo married Japanese artist Yuko Enan, and they had a daughter, Ami Enan. The marriage ended in divorce after three years; Yuko later died by suicide. Enzo initially displayed indifference toward Ami, dismissing her during crises. This changed when they jointly escaped the destruction of Shake Hanz headquarters, forging a closer bond.
As Shake Hanz CEO, Enzo spearheaded "Hito-Log" (PeopleLog), an AI-driven social media app predicting behavior, tracking locations, analyzing preferences, and executing real-time facial recognition—even through disguises. Confident it could catalog humanity, he lured Lupin III into a confrontation to prove its infallibility. Enzo employed manipulative tactics: he imprisoned Fujiko Mine in a golden cage and used PeopleLog to fracture Lupin’s gang, deceiving Goemon Ishikawa XIII into believing Lupin considered him a collectible. This provoked a near-fatal duel between them.
Shake Hanz pursued global influence through cyber-trafficking and a quest for internet monopoly. The corporation covertly fueled political upheavals, like backing Padar’s king during a revolution, positioning itself as the final arc’s shadow antagonist behind Lupin’s challenges. After the headquarters’ collapse during a clash with Lupin and law enforcement, Enzo survived and reconciled with Ami. When Lupin invited Ami to join his gang, she chose to remain with her father. Enzo declared plans to develop an upgraded PeopleLog, signaling enduring ambitions.
