Description
Gotō-sensei serves as a teacher at Sameshima Academy, consistently positioned at the school gates each morning to oversee student arrivals. His primary duty involves enforcing discipline, issuing stern guidance or reprimands to those violating rules, such as students attempting to bring prohibited items like cigarettes onto campus. Despite his strict demeanor, he demonstrates genuine care for his students' well-being and finds significant satisfaction in his teaching role.

Momo Shinozuka, a member of the public morals committee, assists him during morning gate duty and harbors a romantic interest in him. He perceives her as a reliable partner in upholding school discipline but remains entirely oblivious to her personal feelings. Their professional dynamic persists even during incidents where Momo experiences sugar-induced hyperactivity after consuming sweets; he maintains his unchanged professional demeanor without acknowledging her altered behavior.

His influence extends beyond daily supervision, having once provided crucial assistance to Momo during a personal moment of need. This encounter motivated her to join the disciplinary committee, where she continues supporting his efforts to maintain order. The surname Gotō (後藤) combines the characters for "rear" or "remainder" (後) and "wisteria" (藤). No significant character development, backstory details, or expanded narrative roles beyond these established traits and interactions are depicted.
