Description
Suigin Riku is an 18-year-old male high school student born on February 16th. He has gray hair of medium length and blue eyes, standing 184 centimeters tall and weighing approximately 60 kilograms. His attire is marked by a red scarf known as the Raven Scarf, a gift from his grandfather that he wears wrapped multiple times around his neck, reaching to his waist. He initially dresses in a white shirt beneath a blue and white sweater, blue jeans, and blue and red sneakers. Later, he adopts a new outfit of black boots with red markings and a matching jacket.

He attends the prestigious Shinryou Private Academy, an institution largely for the wealthy, but comes from a poor background and works multiple part-time jobs to afford his tuition. An intense gamer, he possesses exceptional observation and perception skills that make him proficient in video games. His favorite is an online RPG called Dungeon Century, where he forms a meaningful connection with an online friend.

His life shifts when Dungeon Century shuts down and he discovers this friend is Rei Riku, a popular and intelligent girl from his school whom he secretly admires. Soon after this revelation, Rei is kidnapped into a new game called Grave Buster. He acquires a copy and is drawn into this world to rescue her. Prior to these events, he inherits ten billion yen and the title of Guardian from his grandfather, Yuuki Riku, a world-renowned game designer who is also Rei's adopted father and a descendant of the Guardians, a lineage with special abilities.

Inside Grave Buster, he becomes the last Tomb Guardian, charged with protecting the tomb from raiders. He is guided by Twin Star, a shapeshifting tomb beast that acts as his familiar and advisor. His inherited wealth grants him significant power in the game, where mechanics favor resource-rich players. He utilizes abilities tied to the Raven Scarf for defense and utility, and can create illusions, teleport, and summon barriers based on his financial assets.

His journey involves overcoming the game’s challenges, unraveling mysteries of his heritage, and facing other powerful players, including the elite Billion Players—a group to which he belongs due to his inheritance. While driven by the mission to save Rei, he also aids other players and confronts in-game threats, even when they distract from his primary goal.

Flashbacks and revelations explore his relationship with his grandfather, uncovering a deeper connection to the game’s lore and the legacy of the Guardians. The circumstances of his grandfather’s death add further complexity to his mission.
