Description
Rei Riku, adopted daughter of renowned game developer Yuuki Riku (creator of Grave Buster), attends Shinryou Private Academy as a popular model student. She possesses distinctive pink hair, red eyes, and a slender build. Rei first encounters protagonist Suigin Riku by saving him from drowning at the school pool, unaware they previously interacted under different identities in the online game Dungeon Century. After Dungeon Century shuts down, Suigin discovers Rei is his former in-game companion. She later provides him access to Grave Buster.

Rei is then kidnapped under mysterious circumstances, sparking Suigin's entry into Grave Buster to rescue her. Her captivity drives the narrative across both seasons. Held in Stage 0, a critical area within Grave Buster, during Season 2, her rescue requires Suigin to battle powerful opponents like Aslan guarding access. This mission intertwines with revelations about hidden memories, secrets tied to her adoptive father Yuuki Riku (also Suigin's grandfather), and Yuuki's background as the last descendant of the Tomb Guardians tribe connected to Grave Buster's lore.

A recurring element is Rei's resemblance to "The Collector," who shares her physical traits and voice, suggesting a potential deeper connection. Rei's role evolves from damsel in distress to a central figure uncovering Grave Buster's mysteries and Suigin's forgotten past. Her relationship with Suigin progresses from a school crush to a deeper bond forged through shared virtual and real-world experiences. In Season 2, Suigin's intensified efforts to breach Stage 0 gain allies like Aslan after initial conflicts. Rei's rescue is key to broader revelations about the Tomb Guardians, Billion Players, and Grave Buster's true nature.

Her background includes being orphaned and adopted by Yuuki, with specific details about her birth family undisclosed; her birthday is June 20. Rei's development centers on her dual existence across realities: her tangible academic life and pivotal role within Grave Buster's virtual conflict. Her storyline remains unresolved beyond Season 2, with Suigin's progression into Stage 0 marking a critical but incomplete step toward her liberation.
