Clala Thorn, an American-born individual, inherits the kaiju soul of King Joe, enabling her transformation into this mechanized entity. Her name "Clala" originates from the Ryton R30 missile, the original King Joe robot's sole weakness, while "Thorn" references Dorothy Anderson, its creator in the Ultraseven series.
Visually distinctive with a striking appearance, she balances a modeling career with her activities as a kaiju girl. Her personality presents a duality: outwardly reserved and speaking sparingly, yet internally possessing a cheerful disposition. This quiet demeanor masks her positive inner nature during interactions.
Transformed into King Joe, she wields immense strength and nearly impenetrable armor plating. Additional abilities include flight and deploying detachable, cone-shaped drone units from her waist that operate autonomously in combat.
