Description
Jing Xialian is a Chinese-American racer competing in the Trans-America Wild Race. She sports indigo-blue hair styled with an open Asian fan at the back and straight bangs, complemented by pink eyes and raspberry-pink eyeshadow. Her signature attire features a cropped pink qipao-style top, loose teal pants adorned with yellow embellishments, brown leather racing gloves, a red utility sash at her waist, brown combat boots accented with large pink flower accessories, and small stud earrings.

Her parents, Chinese immigrants, run a local cleaners. Her father instilled a passion for automobiles, racing techniques, and martial arts during her upbringing. Inspired by racers as a child, she joined a racing team only to face persistent sexism, confining her to mechanic duties and minor tasks while barring her from professional racing. Undeterred, she secretly practiced driving the team's cars at night.

This determination culminated in a confrontation with the team's driver, leading the owner to grant her an older vehicle for the Trans-America Wild Race, making her its sole female entrant. She demonstrates fierce loyalty towards her companions—Appare, Kosame, Hototo, Al, and Sophia—consistently supporting them through shared challenges.

Beyond racing, she possesses martial arts training and actively hones her combat skills, continuing this practice in urban environments post-race. Her background as a mechanic provides deep practical knowledge of automotive engineering, enhancing her racing prowess.

Her journey centers on overcoming gender barriers in a male-dominated field through perseverance and technical expertise. Interactions with fellow racers showcase her capacity for teamwork and mutual support, cementing her vital role within the group.
