TV-Series
Description
Jinjin operates as one half of a duo alongside Takumi, serving as loyal subordinates to Gelos within the antagonistic Criasu Corporation. Both consistently wear matching purple suits and rectangular black-rimmed glasses. Jinjin distinguishes himself with longer grayish-pink hair tied in a ponytail, contrasting Takumi's shorter, spikier silver-gray style. Their personalities center on unwavering mutual loyalty to Gelos, though they exhibit unruly tendencies when unsupervised, exemplified by their reckless experimentation with an unstable prototype after learning of their dismissal.
Following their firing by Gelos, Jinjin and Takumi attempted to prove their worth by interfering with Doctor Traum's prototype device. This action backfired, provoking Gelos to forcibly fuse them into the single monstrous entity Mou-Oshimaida. During this fusion, Gelos explicitly declared them worthless, deepening their emotional turmoil before the Pretty Cure team purified and saved them.
Post-purification, Jinjin secured employment as a construction worker, while Takumi became a roasted sweet potato vendor. Despite Gelos's prior cruelty, Jinjin and Takumi sought her out when she transformed herself into a Mou-Oshimaida. They persistently appealed to her better nature, culminating in a heartfelt declaration of their wish to "grow old" with her and continue seeing her smile. This emotional plea, combined with physically embracing her, enabled the Pretty Cure team to purify Gelos.
Later, Jinjin and Takumi collaborated with other former Criasu members to support the Pretty Cure team against George Kurai. When initially overpowered, they temporarily transformed into Pretty Cure warriors themselves using the Mirai Bracelets, aiding in the final battle. After Kurai's defeat, they traveled to the altered future with Hugtan, Harry, and the redeemed Criasu members. Reappearing 12 years later in this new timeline as schoolchildren, Jinjin wears a purple cardigan, white shirt, grey trousers, a purple backpack, and retains his signature rectangular glasses.
