Description
Pān Yù-Líng, younger sister of Qīng Bāng leader Pān Guāng-Lín and romantic partner of Kenshiro Kasumi, forged a bond with Kenshiro after rescuing him from critical injury, defying her adopted father’s pact to wed her to Máng Kuáng-Yún as repayment for debts. Her rejection of this obligation provoked Máng to erase her memories and exile her to northern China under the custody of a nomadic warlord. There, she adopted the alias Lǐ Xiù-Bǎo, spearheading guerrilla resistance against the Imperial Japanese Army while mastering Praying Mantis-style combat.

As Lǐ Xiù-Bǎo, her animosity toward Japan intensified, her militia’s roots tracing to remnants of Manchurian general Zhāng Zuōlín’s army. Years of fragmented identity ended when a Shanghai encounter with Kenshiro reignited her suppressed past. Restored memories led to their marriage and her ascension as Qīng Bāng leader after her brother’s near-fatal assassination.

Her trajectory entangled with rival factions: the Hóng Huá Huì, Hokuto Sankaken practitioners, and Zhāng Tài-Yán—a Cao Family Fist adept who pursued her for her uncanny likeness to Lǐ Xiù-Bǎo, sparking clashes with Kenshiro. In Japan, Kenshiro’s half-brother Ramon Kasumi shielded her from Tài Hú Bāng reprisals as her protector.

Subtle allusions to Christian faith punctuate her early interactions, while her name echoes Yuria, Kenshiro’s fiancée from the Hokuto saga—a connection underscored by shared maternal echoes and cyclical separations. From healer to wartime commander, her arc embodies resilience and self-reclamation against the chaos of conflict.
