Description
Kiyoi Mizushima emerges as a withdrawn middle school student with long wavy brown hair typically tied in a left-side tail. Her isolation originates from severe childhood bullying orchestrated by a supposed friend, breeding deep distrust and low self-esteem. Ayumi Sakaguchi persistently bridges this gap, convincing Kiyoi to try the WIXOSS card game. After Ayumi shoves Kiyoi from a truck’s path and falls into a coma, Kiyoi becomes a Selector paired with the LRIG Remember, wishing to save Ayumi. Upon ascending to Eternal Girl and transforming into the LRIG Piruluk, she witnesses Remember—inhabiting Kiyoi’s body—disconnect Ayumi’s life support, igniting her thirst for revenge and a human form.

As Piruluk, she serves multiple Selectors, her repeated use of the Peeping Analyze ability to glimpse opponents’ wishes hardening her into a cold, emotionless entity. This culminates in her partnership with Akira Aoi, enabling Akira’s tactics of mocking exposed desires. Following Akira’s third loss, Piruluk returns to Mayu’s white room and is reassigned to Amika Hashimoto, who resembles Ayumi. Initial clashes over Piruluk’s detachment give way to a genuine bond. When Remember provokes a battle by exposing Piruluk’s past, Piruluk abandons her revenge at level 5, rewriting Amika’s wish to "lose my mother" and intentionally losing—reversing the wish to save Amika’s mother. Mayu punishes this defiance by restoring Kiyoi’s human body, forcing her to live with guilt over Ayumi’s death while finding solace in Amika’s friendship.

In subsequent events, Kiyoi joins new Selector battles with the LRIG Allos Piruluk. Haunted by the despair she caused as Piruluk, she dedicates herself to ending the battle cycle. Noticing irregularities in the system’s resurgence, she investigates and recruits allies like Suzuko Homura. The emergence of "Key" cards with unknown rules escalates the stakes. Kiyoi confronts hostility from former victims like Akira, who seeks vengeance, and navigates conflicts involving new and returning Selectors. Her motivations broaden to recover lost memories of Ayumi, sacrificed during her earlier survival.

Her arc culminates in the White Room, where she confronts the entity orchestrating the battles. Leveraging her dual experience as Selector and LRIG, she engineers a strategy to dismantle the system permanently. Successfully ending the battles restores all erased individuals and lost memories, including Ayumi’s. Kiyoi achieves closure, living normally with memories intact and the cycle broken.
