Description
Mikio Mashita is the younger twin brother of the former Plavsky Particle System Enterprise chairman. He emerges as the primary threat in the OVA "Gundam Build Fighters: GM's Counterattack," leading the criminal organization Gunpla Mafia. This group commits theft and sabotage within the Gunpla Battle world, pursuing domination through illicit methods.
Mashita orchestrates a takeover of the newly constructed Yajima Stadium during a pre-opening tour, trapping elite fighters Sei Iori, the third Meijin Kawaguchi, Ricardo Fellini, Nils Nielsen, and Mao Yasaka inside. Sealing exits and cutting power, he forces them into a controlled real-time battle. Earlier, during a public diversion, the Gunpla Mafia stole Sei Iori's custom Build Strike Cosmos, which Mashita later deploys against its creator.
Throughout the battle, Mashita directs the Gunpla Mafia to employ underhanded tactics: manipulating the battlefield environment to create traps, deploying cloaked mobile suits for ambushes, and artificially altering Plavsky particle levels to disable opponents' Gunpla mobility. He pilots the heavily customized MRXGM-009 Psycho GM, a mobile armor modeled after the Psyco Gundam but featuring a GM-style head. The Psycho GM possesses overwhelming firepower, including diffuse mega particle cannons, ten finger-mounted beam cannons, forehead-mounted small mega beam cannons, and six reflector bits capable of independent attacks or beam redirection. A transformation system enhances its psycommu weapon control in "Mobile Fortress" mode.
In the final confrontation, Mashita directly battles Sei Iori piloting the incomplete Star Burning Gundam. Using both the stolen Build Strike Cosmos and the Psycho GM, he disables the Star Burning's shield and immobilizes the opposing team via particle manipulation. His advantage shatters with the sudden arrival of Reiji. Together, Reiji and Sei activate the Star Burning Gundam's RG System, destroying the Psycho GM with a "Hyper Star Burning Knuckle" attack.
Defeated, Mikio Mashita attempts to flee the stadium, abandoning his captured subordinates. He is apprehended and arrested at the stadium entrance by Takeshi Iori and a team of Gunpla Battle referees, ending his leadership of the Gunpla Mafia.
