After a uniquely patterned egg appears amidst a thunderous crash and rainbow-colored light, Poncho commands the villagers to find it. This order directly sparks the main quest undertaken by Kometora and the children. His position as chief places him centrally in upholding order and confronting the community's unease stemming from the disruption to their usual reliance on the baobab tree's provisions.
