Description
Enki Gokū serves as a supporting character. He is the deceased older brother of Samon Gokū and grandson of Hihi Gokū. Initially, Enki worked as the highly respected supervisor of building five at Nanba Prison, known for his leadership and dedication to inmate rehabilitation through physical training. He possessed a remarkably tall and muscular build, dark skin, sharp dark green eyes outlined with red makeup, and long red-and-white hair tied in a thin ponytail. Prominent facial scars, turquoise-colored sharp nails, and fang-like teeth completed his appearance. As an inmate, he wore a black jumpsuit left open at the top, fastened with silver clasps and a red sash. After escaping, he reclaimed a modified, tattered guard uniform featuring gold trimming, green cloth accents, and red-and-gold boots.

Enki maintained a stoic and reserved demeanor, rarely speaking or displaying emotions. This aloofness, combined with accusations of brutally assaulting and murdering inmates, led others to perceive him as cruel. However, before these events, he was widely admired for his strength, willpower, and commitment to justice. He firmly believed in giving individuals second chances and actively prevented inmate mistreatment, handling such matters personally. His dedication extended beyond the prison; he pursued global justice and demonstrated profound compassion despite his emotionless exterior. His willpower manifested starkly when he chose to end his own life to resist Elf's control, retaining his true self until death.

Enki grew up within the secluded Gokū Clan martial arts family in China's mountains. From childhood, he displayed extraordinary strength and trained rigorously, largely ignoring his younger brother Samon's attempts to emulate him. During his youth, he rescued Noriko Sanzou from a temple prison, dissuading her from suicide and urging her not to be enslaved by her abilities. He brought her to his mountain home, instructing her and Samon to train together, fostering a close bond among the trio. He shared his ideals about life and justice with Noriko.

His career began as a prison guard in China, where he uncovered illegal organ trafficking targeting inmates. Despite warnings, he persisted, deliberately injuring prisoners to hospitalize them and remove them from harm. This interference led his superior to hire an assassin—later revealed as Elf—to eliminate him. Enki survived with only one injury but deduced the assassin's connection to human experimentation. He reported the prison's crimes, resulting in its shutdown.

Enki then transferred to Nanba Prison as building five's supervisor, earning admiration from guards and inmates. He eventually detected a presence identical to his past attacker and confronted Elf. Elf manipulated surrounding inmates into assaulting Enki and framed him for murder by exploiting a fragment of influence embedded in Enki's right arm during their previous encounter. Cornered by fellow supervisors, Enki surrendered to Hajime Sugoroku and was imprisoned in the Gogyousan Underground facility. His building gained the derogatory nickname "traitorous building five".

Imprisoned, Enki received regular visits from Inori Hakkai. Learning about Jyugo and Musashi's superhuman abilities from Inori, Enki resolved to kill them. He destroyed his cell and escaped the underground prison with assistance from Ruka Gojou and Inori. On reaching the surface, he encountered Samon, mocked his perceived weakness, defeated him, and imprisoned him in Gogyousan. During his escape, Enki sensed abnormal movements and confirmed with Inori that their plan was progressing. He vowed to kill Elf, the one who orchestrated his downfall.

Enki later confronted Kenshirou Yozakura, refusing to disclose motives and reiterating his intent to kill Musashi and Jyugo. A battle ensued; Inori defected back to Samon's side and attempted to arrest Enki using Jiang Shi dolls and Ki-sealing techniques. Enki broke free and was confronted by Houdzuki Sanzou and Noriko, who used their Doukidoukon. When Samon arrived, Enki dismissed his inquiries and moved to kill Jyugo, describing him as a dangerous and inhuman existence. He justified his actions to Hajime Sugoroku, insisting Jyugo's threat necessitated elimination.

Noriko sensed Elf's evil presence within Enki and vowed to protect him, which he reluctantly accepted. He engaged Samon in another battle; Elf's influence intensified, driving Enki to wound Samon severely. As the possessed Enki prepared a fatal qigong attack, Samon countered it using a technique learned to impress him. Unfazed, Enki repeated the attack until Samon collapsed. He subsequently confronted Jyugo once more, questioning his understanding, before delivering final words to Kenshirou and Kiji Mitsuba.

Enki's underlying motivations centered on eliminating perceived threats from superhuman abilities and Elf's manipulations, while his complex relationship with Samon and Noriko revealed layers of loyalty and conflict.
