Description
Azusa Murasaka, central to "Orange: Mirai" across manga, anime, and film, hails from a family running a bakery and has a younger sister named Misuzu. In high school, she sports strawberry blonde hair often tied in a ponytail, hazel eyes, and stands 154 cm tall. Her school uniform reflects a casual style with unbuttoned jackets, shorter skirts, and occasional casual outerwear substitutions. Outside school, she favors striped shirts, sweaters, pink shorts, earrings, and distinctive hair ties featuring white balls.

Her future self experiments with ponytails or buns, still using decorative hair ties, and adopts more mature fashion like polka-dotted overalls with knitted sweaters and hoop earrings. Personality-wise, she brings cheerful, playful energy and staunch support, especially for her friend Naho Takamiya. While prone to mischievous teasing, she reveals seriousness in crucial moments, like efforts to prevent Kakeru Naruse's suicide. Open about past nicknames like "Huntsman," she matures while retaining her core essence.

Relationships drive her development. She shares an unbreakable bond with best friend Takako Chino and frequently argues with Saku Hagita, a dynamic peers compare to an "old married couple." This evolves into dating in the main timeline and marriage in an alternate future. She actively supports Naho's emotional struggles and shows deep concern for Kakeru's well-being, later harboring regret for not intervening in his and Naho's unresolved feelings.

Her story role begins upon receiving a letter from her future self, joining the group effort to alter past events and prevent Kakeru's death. In "Orange: Mirai," she joins the pivotal reunion at Mt. Koubou with Hiroto Suwa, Naho, Takako, and Saku Hagita. There, they mourn Kakeru and resolve to send letters to their past selves, aiming to rectify regrets and forge a new future. The film confirms her continued relationship with Hagita in this future timeline.
