Description
Yuuma Isogai attends Kunugigaoka Junior High School as the male class representative of Class 3-E, partnering with Meg Kataoka. He sports distinctive spiked dark brown hair featuring two prominent "antenna" strands, a trait he shares with his younger siblings. Standing 172 cm tall and weighing 57 kg, his attractive appearance contributes to his popularity throughout the school, even amidst Class E's stigma.

Born on November 13, Isogai's family faces financial hardship. His father died in a car accident during his first year of junior high, leaving Isogai responsible for supporting his sick mother and siblings. This forced him to take a part-time job at a café, violating school rules and leading to his transfer to Class 3-E. He continued working secretly to provide for his family, a situation that nearly caused his expulsion after being discovered by the school's elite "Big Five."

Isogai presents a cheerful, reliable, and modest personality. His leadership and knack for recognizing classmates' strengths earn him trust. Often described as an "ikemen," he balances polite manners with casual teenage speech. His frugality, born from poverty, leads to comedic moments like cooking festival goldfish into "Goldfish Soup" or foraging for expensive yams. Academically, he excels in social studies and geography, ranking first school-wide in social studies after a lesson on African poverty strengthened his resolve to fight economic inequality. He placed second overall in Class 3-E's midterms, behind Karma Akabane.

In assassination training, Isogai ranks first among boys in knifework and second in marksmanship (scoring 103/200). His reflexes and athleticism shine during the Athletic Festival Arc. There, he masterminded Class E's victory against Class A's "Bo-taoshi" team, which included elite foreign athletes. Drawing inspiration from historical tactics like Hannibal of Carthage and Korosensei's teachings, he leveraged his classmates' unpredictability to overcome superior opponents. His leadership proved crucial in unifying the class during critical missions, including their final collective decision to assassinate Korosensei to honor their bond.

After graduation, Isogai attended a public high school followed by Tokyo University, funded by scholarships and part-time savings. He joined a major trading company with the goal of combating poverty through fair trade initiatives. Seven years later, he helped organize renovations of the Class 3-E campus and considered its long-term preservation.

In the spin-off "Koro-sensei Quest!", Isogai wears hero armor cursed to cover only his front, exposing his back and underwear—a detail his classmates perceive without negativity. His closest relationships include childhood friend Hiroto Maehara, whom he lists as a "treasure" alongside family, and co-representative Meg Kataoka, with whom he shares academic duties.
