Movie
Description
Masayoshi Kimura, a student in Kunugigaoka Junior High School’s Class 3-E, sports dark brownish-green spiked hair and black eyes. His parents—police officers valuing justice—named him "Masayoshi" (正義, "justice"), pronounced "Jasutisu" (Justice) in Japanese. Mockery over his name eroded his academic standing, prompting his transfer to Class 3-E. Though the ridicule deeply troubled him, Korosensei’s advice shifted his perspective: succeeding in assassinating their target would transform "Justice" into a resonant symbol in headlines, dissuading him from legally changing it.
Driven by the 10 billion yen reward, Masayoshi actively participates in assassination plots. His physical prowess distinguishes him as Class 3-E’s fastest sprinter, clocking 11 seconds in the 100-meter dash, and he ranks fourth in knifework alongside Hinata Okano, Meg Kataoka, and Taiga Okajima. Academically, he climbed from 133rd to 43rd across exams, though math remains his weakest subject.
Previously in the Track Club, Masayoshi now balances assassination training with a susceptibility to colds. He collects autographs and favors homemade curry. During a mock assassination, classmates distracted Tadaomi Karasuma for Masayoshi to deliver the final strike, though lingering doubts about his name resurfaced until Korosensei’s reassurance.
He harbors unreciprocated feelings for Hinano Kurahashi, who focuses on Karasuma. In the Civil War arc, Sumire Hara’s net trap ensnared him and Hinata Okano, leading to their defeat by Hiroto Maehara. His combat profile emphasizes exceptional mobility and physical skill, dubbing him a "supreme runner."
In media like *Assassination Classroom the Movie: 365 Days' Time*, Masayoshi maintains his core traits, engaging in class activities and dynamics without film-specific arcs.
