Description
Silvie Cariello, alias Silvi, serves in the League of Nations Air Forces Aviation Magic Band as a Romagnan royal turned morale-boosting virtuoso. Born Princess Silvana Adelaide di Carignano of the Romagnan Carignano Dynasty, she joined the Air Force following her mother’s 1935 death and the war’s onset. Though excelling in training, command repeatedly transferred her between units, wary of endangering a royal heir in combat. This pattern culminated in her posting to the Music Squadron, a non-combat unit using musical performances to uplift spirits.

Initially masking her lineage to blend with peers, Silvie’s identity emerged publicly during a Rome concert, where she openly claimed her heritage. Her persona balances a detached, almost aloof exterior with fierce dedication to her role and an elegant sartorial flair. She commands the unit’s costume design, her meticulous craftsmanship shaping their striking visual cohesion.

Trained in vocals and fashion design, Silvie pilots a modified North Liberion T-6 Texan Striker Unit retrofitted for ceremonial duties. Her constant companion is Pekorus, a sheep familiar. The character subtly echoes Silvana Fioresi, a 1940s Italian vocalist.

Silvie’s arc traces her shift from a guarded royal exile to a pivotal Music Squadron figure. Her journey underscores reluctant trust-building and collaborative growth, channeling her precision into fostering unity. The Rome concert revelation crystallizes her dual embrace of heritage and chosen family, framing her transition from sidelined royal to morale-driving linchpin.

Her backstory weaves dynastic duty against self-determination, mirroring tensions between battlefield expectations and non-combat purpose. The series positions her setbacks as catalysts, redefining military contribution beyond frontline heroism through artistry and leadership.
