Description
Ralph Hardy Mirphak, nicknamed "Hardy," is a magician serving in the USNA's elite military unit, Stars. He embodies honesty, steadiness, and reliability, prioritizing careful execution over personal recognition. This dependability makes him trusted for critical missions, even those operating outside standard protocols when necessary.

During the mission against a Japanese facility developing "Meteorite Fall" (depicted in "The Girl Who Summons the Stars"), Hardy operates under Angelina Kudou Shields alongside Major Benjamin Canopus and Second-Lieutenant Ralph Algol. Their objective is the destruction of the facility and its research data. Hardy later proves pivotal in Angelina's escape from USNA jurisdiction. Following Colonel Virginia Balance's orders, he retrieves her using an experimental vehicle, presents verification to gain her trust, and ensures her safe passage to Japan. After this operation, Hardy relocates to the USNA's west coast for safety, not returning to Stars headquarters.

Hardy's magical combat specialization involves wielding knife-shaped Integrated CADs. He manipulates these devices telekinetically in battle using his unique "Dancing Blaze" technique, enabling precise aerial control and targeted strikes.

In the later continuity of "Magian Company," Hardy rejoins Stars, attaining the rank of Captain. He is assigned to support Angelina Kudou Shields—now operating as Lieutenant Colonel Lina Brooks—alongside Second Lieutenant Sophia Spica, reaffirming his role as a reliable element within the unit's command structure.
