Description
Kabuto, also known as Red Knight Kabuto, is a large man clad in red armor featuring shoulder plates, arm guards, boots, and a helmet crowned with a drum. His personality radiates self-confidence, marked by dramatic speech and occasional strikes to his helmet’s drum. During Mistral-Bit’s trial, he wears a large representation of The SwordHero Sieg-Susano-Fried card over his body.
He serves as one of the Battlers of Darkness, wielding red-aligned Battle Spirits. After General Inui’s defeat by Shunta Mogami, Kabuto resolved to challenge Shunta personally. During an encounter where Shunta was accompanied by Eto Etoshinmori, Kinoto, and Yoku Albatrosa, Kabuto intended to battle Shunta but was challenged by Yoku instead. The confrontation ended in Kabuto’s defeat and retreat.
In that clash (Episode 2), Kabuto summoned Ashigaru Raptors and Musharex, unleashed Flame Tempest to destroy spirits with 3000 BP or less, and deployed The SwordHero Sieg-Susano-Fried. Yoku countered with The RoosterTwelveGodKing Gale-Phoenix, exploiting its Soar effect to refresh it after attacks. This strategy shattered Kabuto’s defenses and depleted his life cores.
Following losses by the Battlers of Darkness against heroes chosen by the Twelve God-Kings, their leader Tatsumi distributed a Twelve God-King card to lure opposing God-Kings. Kabuto demanded the card, claiming he could secure victory, sparking a physical altercation with General Inui. The card was ultimately awarded to Kengou.
Later, during a contest for The RoosterTwelveGodKing Gale-Phoenix obtained by General Inui, Kabuto defeated multiple Battlers of Darkness offscreen but lost the God-King to Yoroi (Episode 14). He subsequently fell to Ron Gai offscreen during Ron Gai’s challenge against Tatsumi (Episode 27).
His red-aligned battle deck has featured Ashigaru Raptor, Musharex, The SwordHero Sieg-Susano-Fried, and the magic card Flame Tempest. Documented outcomes include: loss to Yoku (Episode 2), offscreen victory against fellow Battlers of Darkness (Episode 14), loss to Yoroi (Episode 14), and offscreen loss to Ron Gai (Episode 27).
