Description
Kiki Beresia, a descendant of the original Yellow hero, initially lacked purpose until encountering Tatsumi. She joined his faction, the Battlers of Darkness, believing assisting in reviving the evil God-King would fulfill her heroic legacy. Her unwavering confidence manifests in her exclusive use of Yellow decks, refusing to adapt her strategy for rare cards of other colors. Key cards include Divine Demon-God (an Imagine Brave), The MonkeyTwelveGodKing Hanumerlin, and The BeautyHero Cleopatras, reflecting her specialization in Yellow spirits and magic.
Her pursuit of power centered on collecting the Twelve God-Kings. After sensing a Yellow God-King's presence, she sought Hanumerlin guarded by the Keymon tribe. The tribe's sages, including Red Monkey, detected treachery and refused to relinquish it. Kiki challenged all three sages simultaneously in episode 23, defeating them decisively and claiming Hanumerlin despite objections. She later targeted Mei Merryhadda, defeating him to seize The SheepTwelveGodKing Glorious-Sheep. However, she lost this God-King to Shunta Mogami in a subsequent duel and suffered injuries requiring General Inui's assistance.
Undeterred, she continued acquiring God-Kings, defeating Sandrat to obtain The RatTwelveGodKing Mouchuu after a closely contested match in episode 37. During internal Battlers of Darkness conflicts, she expressed shock and anger witnessing Kazuya Taiga utilize Soul Drive, sacrificing the Spirits World's life force. Confronting Tatsumi, he prioritized gathering God-Kings regardless of cost. She later tested Io, a white hero arriving per prophecy, losing to him in battle. Though Io briefly took Hanumerlin, he returned it, emphasizing unity among allies.
Her capabilities include strategic card effects. Her GranSkill enables summoning Spirit cards with [Accel] from opened zones, while her GranField effect supports attacks involving "Imaginary Beast" spirits, synergizing with her aggressive style. Her battle record shows losses against Shunta (episode 15 and 26) and Io (episode 34), and wins against the three Monkey Sages (episode 23), Mei Merryhadda (episode 24), Sandrat (episode 37), and a collaborative victory with Tatsumi and Inui against Shishi (episode 48).
In the manga adaptation, her storyline diverges. She possesses both Hanumerlin and Mouchuu from the outset, Sandrat is absent, and Io does not appear. Tatsumi suffers his initial defeat at Kazuya's hands instead of Yoku Albatrosa.
