Movie
Description
Sakura Inami is a Spirit World Warrior from a clan known for its relatively weak powers, a limitation made clear by her inability to see the purple sky created by the Hollow Shadow. The death of her older sister, Yui Inami, who was killed by Mirai Kuriyama while possessed by the Hollow Shadow, ignited in Sakura a powerful desire for revenge.
To pursue this goal, she entered an agreement to borrow a special weapon that consumes youmu stones to gain strength, on the condition that she would kill Mirai. This weapon was provided by Miroku Fujima, a member of the Spirit World Warrior Society with his own motives. Sakura transferred into Mirai's school to settle matters, an act that shattered Mirai's peaceful daily life and culminated in a direct confrontation in a nearby market.
During their clash, Sakura's overconfidence and the weapon's inherent danger were exposed when the gap in their abilities became clear and the weapon turned against its owner, attempting to devour her. She was saved from this fate by Mirai's quick intervention, an act that led to a reconciliation between them. Following this event, Miroku Fujima retrieved the discarded weapon, noting that the youmu stones stored within were sufficient for his real target, the stone of the Hollow Shadow.
Sakura later demonstrates development by cooperating with former adversaries, assisting the Nase siblings in apprehending Miroku Fujima. This indicates a shift from her previous single-minded pursuit of vengeance. In the events of the movie *Mirai-hen*, she works alongside the main group to confront the revived threat of the Hollow Shadow, solidifying her role as an ally.
