Description
Toshiie Homura reigns as a prominent S-Class card battler in Kantou and leads a formidable gang. Known by the aliases "Toshi," "The Scorching Tiger," and "The fierce tiger of flame," he faces Dairokuten Maou’s derogatory nickname "Stray cat." His appearance features black hair with red front spikes, red eyes, crimson markings beneath them, and a hair clip. He sports a green shirt, tan pants, and a yellow jacket adorned with red designs, black stripes, and fur neck trim.
Passionate and destructive in battle, Toshiie repeatedly clashed over Musashi territory with Kanetsugu Houryokuin, though neither achieved decisive victory. Yukimura Rekka’s strength intrigued him; after challenging and losing to Yukimura, frustration mounted when Yukimura faced tougher foes without using his key card. Determined to improve, Toshiie battled relentlessly for a rematch.
When Toukichirou Mashira mocked red users while seizing his territory, Toshiie defeated him, recalling how the card "Sengoku-Tiger" transformed his mundane life, drawing fellow red users to his side. Empowered, Toshiie challenged Yukimura again with his brave spirit "The KatanaGeneralArmor Ash-Lion," capable of opposing Souldragon. He lost but accepted defeat gracefully, vowing to reclaim his title as Kantou’s strongest red battler.
In the tournament arc, Toshiie allied with Yukimura and Souun Gunjou to free Musashi from Dairokuten Maou, defeating Ranmaru Shikigami. He later competed against Kanetsugu and Souun for a spot on Yukimura’s Warring States Championship team. After losing to Kanetsugu, Toshiie departed Musashi for Toukai with Nagayori Akai, forming a red-user team. He recruited the reclusive S-Rank Shingen Shidou by earning his respect through perseverance.
Toshiie’s team advanced through championship preliminaries. In the first official round, he defeated Koretoyo Hinokuni using his new Ultimate card "The SengokuSixGeneral LeonLancer." During the second round, he bested Kagetora Koshirakawa, declaring his belief in fighting for oneself rather than as another’s "shadow." The quarterfinals culminated in a narrow victory over Kanetsugu, resolving their rivalry.
When Souun sustained critical injuries battling Dairokuten Maou, Toshiie expressed concern but avoided the hospital. Reaching the semifinals, he fought Dairokuten Maou to avenge Souun and fulfill his promise to face Yukimura in the finals. Defeated and severely injured, Toshiie later entrusted his "Sengoku-Tiger" card to Yukimura for the final battle against Nobunaga. The series concludes as Toshiie initiates his long-awaited match against Yukimura, witnessed by their allies.
Toshiie’s deck centers on red cards, featuring spirits like "Sengoku-Tiger," "Sanzokku-Bear," "The GunDog Zash," "Yaibird," and "Ohdoran." His brave spirit remains "The KatanaGeneralArmor Ash-Lion," and his Ultimates include "The SengokuSixGeneral LeonLancer." Magic cards comprise "Blazing Roar," "Great Eccentric Flame," and burst magic "Double Blaster." His battle record includes victories against Toukichirou, Ranmaru, Koretoyo, Kagetora, and Kanetsugu, alongside losses to Yukimura and Dairokuten Maou. His final duel against Yukimura remains unresolved.
