Description
Tomomi Arai is Hana Arai's mother, sharing a residence engulfed by flowers, locally dubbed the "Flower House." This pervasive floral growth shrouds their home in mystery. Following a separation or divorce, Tomomi maintains a single-parent household solely with Hana. She perpetually exhibits profound sorrow, conducting herself as though her daughter is deceased. This leads her to frequent child-centric locations like playgrounds and school events, where she silently observes other children even in Hana's absence. Her mournful presence at these sites ignites neighborhood rumors and deepens the unsettling aura surrounding her family. Tomomi shoulders full responsibility for Hana's reclusive tendencies and school withdrawal, revealing intense guilt over her daughter's emotional state and social isolation. Her own floral obsession and withdrawn existence are inextricably linked to Hana's retreat from the outside world.
