Description
Azusa Asahina, the sixth son of the Asahina family, is one of triplets alongside identical twin Tsubaki and fraternal triplet Natsume. At 24 years old during the main story, he stands 176 cm tall with black hair often obscuring his left eye, a visible beauty mark beneath his right eye, and distinctive dark purple eyes shared with his triplet brothers. His signature style includes black-framed glasses, a jet-black blazer and pants, a white belt, and a chain accessory on his right leg.

Calmer and more reserved than the outgoing Tsubaki, Azusa frequently acts as the voice of reason, curbing his twin's impulsiveness. He shows consistent thoughtfulness towards others, particularly family, initially prioritizing Tsubaki's happiness above his own. This leads him to consider declining a coveted lead voice acting role in a beloved anime reboot simply because Tsubaki auditioned for it. He only accepts after Tsubaki and Ema convince him his own ambitions matter. Azusa wrestles with feelings of inadequacy, seeing himself as lacking direction compared to Tsubaki's clear passion, but gradually develops greater self-assurance and a competitive drive, especially concerning his romantic feelings for Ema.

Working as a voice actor alongside Tsubaki, Azusa initially joined the field at his twin's urging but discovers genuine passion for the craft, partly fueled by Ema's encouragement. His career milestone of landing the lead role Tsubaki desired strains their relationship temporarily, ultimately forging a stronger rivalry and mutual respect. The intense workload from this role results in his hospitalization for meningitis, forcing him to confront his vulnerabilities.

Azusa's relationship with Ema shifts from initial distance to flustered shyness after she helps him recognize his self-worth during the voice acting conflict. He develops deep romantic feelings, confessing to her during his hospital stay and later declaring he won't lose her to anyone, including Tsubaki. He kisses her forehead during one hospital visit and imagines intimate scenarios like sharing a bath or a private getaway. Though Ema later rejects both twins' advances, stating she sees them as family, Azusa and Tsubaki jointly vow not to abandon their feelings for her or allow others to pursue her.

Azusa's bond with Tsubaki remains intensely close and complex, forged from childhood sacrifices Azusa made for his twin's sake. Despite friction over career rivalry and romantic competition for Ema, they reconcile through open communication, with Azusa pledging to become Tsubaki's true rival in voice acting. Their interactions include playful moments like Azusa impersonating Tsubaki's flirtatious demeanor or Tsubaki breaking Azusa's spare glasses, leading to a joint outing where both twins select identical eyewear for Ema as a Christmas gift.

Azusa maintains a respectful but less intimate connection with Natsume, who observes Azusa's changing behavior influenced by Ema. He participates in group activities, such as teaming with Ema during a snowball fight using her "gamer senses," or celebrating birthdays where Ema's use of "onii-chan" makes him blush alongside his triplets.
