Nasubi serves as a demon in Hell's administrative operations, a minion working under Hozuki's supervision alongside Karauri. Originally an award-winning artist in life, he chose a stable bureaucratic afterlife position to support his financially struggling family.

He appears as a young adult with relatively short silver-white hair framing three small white horns above his forehead. Two dark dots are visible beneath his bangs, complementing his large, droopy eyes and cat-like mouth. He typically wears white traditional garments resembling a samue or jinbei, featuring a dark blue collar and belt, along with zōri sandals.

Prone to distraction during duties, Nasubi struggles to maintain focus on assigned tasks, a recurring trait leading to frequent errors. Despite this, he possesses significant artistic talent and proficiency across various painting and craft mediums, drawing heavy inspiration from Katsushika Hokusai, whom he idolizes as a muse.

Within Hell's structure, his primary responsibilities include maintenance tasks like cleaning the banks of the Sanzu River. During one such assignment, his distraction coincided with a giant crab attacking individuals while Hozuki and Karauri were engaged in discussion. His duties also extend to supporting Animal Hell operations, where he works with Shiro, Kakisuke, and Rurio to punish those who abused animals in life. His name translates to "eggplant" in Japanese.
