Description
Mizuki Kanzaki started as an elementary school fashion model before vanishing from the public eye for a year. During this hiatus, she trained intensely with choreographer Johnny Bepp, learning performance skills and the value of authentic smiles. This transformation was sparked by witnessing the legendary unit Masquerade's concert, motivating her to become an idol.

She enrolled at Starlight Academy, swiftly rising to become its top student and reigning Starlight Queen, admired industry-wide for her polished performances. Though perceived as a natural prodigy, her success stemmed from persistent effort. She launched her elegant fashion brand, Love Queen, during this time.

In her second year, she formed the unit Tristar, initially choosing Kaede Ichinose and Ran Shibuki. After Ran departed for another unit, Yurika Tōdō joined. Later, Tristar temporarily merged with other units to create STAR☆ANIS for a summer tour.

After graduation, Mizuki left Starlight Academy to advise behind the scenes at rival Dream Academy. She later resumed active idol work, founding her agency Moonlight Office and introducing a new fashion brand, Love Moonrise, an evolution of Love Queen.

Her partnership with Mikuru Natsuki proved significant, forming the unit WM. Their compatibility enabled them to share performance auras, and Mikuru's influence helped Mizuki display a more relaxed, joyful demeanor. WM established the Twinkle Star Cup competition, challenging units from both Starlight and Dream Academies to fulfill Mizuki's ambition of surpassing Masquerade.

Mizuki participated in the fan-voted Aikatsu8 unit alongside idols from multiple schools. Though WM lost to 2wingS (Ichigo Hoshimiya and Seira Otoshiro) in the Twinkle Star Cup finals, this defeat solidified Mizuki's status as a legendary idol comparable to Masquerade. Having achieved her goal, she announced her retirement from active idol activities. Her final interaction with Ichigo involved declining a joint performance invitation, prompting Ichigo to create a song expressing her admiration.

Her name holds meaning: "Kanzaki" incorporates "kan" (god), referencing her top-idol status, while "Mizuki" combines "mi" (beauty) and "zuki" (moon), reflecting her aesthetic qualities and celestial motif, aligning with her once-perceived unreachable brilliance before partnering with Mikuru.

Mizuki demonstrated exceptional abilities, like executing four Special Appeals in one performance—exceeding the standard maximum of three—further cementing her legendary reputation. She favored marron glacés and fragrant teas, maintaining diverse hobbies such as shopping and extreme sports.

Her relationship with Ichigo was multifaceted; as Ichigo's senior and inspiration, Mizuki recognized her potential, offered guidance, and drew motivation from Ichigo's supportive friendships. She also shared a professional yet friendly dynamic with her manager, Honoka, and respected Dream Academy headmistress Tiara during her advisory role.
