Description
Bayrou Ton is an 18-year-old student who defies her parents' wishes to move to London for university, accompanied by her best friend Mu Shinyao. She is the great-granddaughter of Sha Rijan, the former owner of Cafe Forbidden, and bears a striking resemblance to her ancestor.

Ton's appearance features bangs swept to the right and a moon-shaped pin worn on her left side. She favors a red leather jacket over a blouse with a blue ribbon and ruffled details, paired with black shorts and ankle boots. A significant accessory is a magical ring inherited from Sha Rijan, serving as both a memento and conduit for her power.

Strong-willed and believing her decisions profoundly impact others, Ton demonstrates fierce loyalty and protectiveness, willing to risk her life force to save friends. This drives her to ally with Cafe Forbidden's guardians when Shinyao is kidnapped. Her magical abilities mirror Sha Rijan's, centered on summoning objects like shields, chains, knives, lances, elemental barriers, and talismans by imagining them and touching her shadow. Overusing magic turns her hair red and causes temporary memory loss, requiring rest. Key items include the Artemis Armlet for transforming Umbra and talismans designed to restrain power or imbue life.

Ton advocates for coexistence between humans and supernatural "Shadows," a core belief shaping her interactions. Her relationships include her closest friend Mu Shinyao, whose safety motivates her; Vlad Garfunkel, with whom she frequently quarrels yet maintains mutual support despite stubbornness; Luke Bowen, sharing an optimistic, friendly dynamic where Ton confides; Tauryu, who offers deep respect and loyalty though initially resistant to her help, with Ton insisting on treating him as an equal; Wayne King, whose technological expertise she relies on within a close friendship; and the antagonist Haysin, who targets her due to her lineage, provoking fierce reactions when he endangers Shinyao.

Her history involves uncovering her family's connection to Cafe Forbidden after arriving in London. She gradually masters her inherited powers while navigating conflicts between humans and Shadows, cementing her role as a guardian of their fragile boundary.
