Description
Queen Malta, an East Doroan singer, promoted peace and unity between the divided nations of East Doroa and West Doroa through her concerts. Her assassination by sniper fire during a performance in West Doroa significantly escalated tensions, triggering East Doroa's military escalation.

Malta privately hired Daisuke Jigen as her bodyguard for the West Doroa concert. Her manager dismissed Jigen shortly before the performance, forcing him to leave the venue. Despite this, Jigen returned and witnessed her murder but was unable to intervene. Malta's final words to Jigen included the cryptic statement, "My enemy is not only this nation," hinting at broader threats.

The East Doroan government orchestrated Malta's assassination to frame West Doroa, intending to justify war and consolidate power. Her death was exploited to portray East Doroa as the victim and future hero of the conflict. This conspiracy also led to the targeting of Jigen, as he possessed knowledge of the assassination's true circumstances, necessitating his elimination.
