Description
Naru Ayase, a 14-year-old aspiring manager hoping to work at her favorite store Dear Crown, stands 145 cm tall with peach-colored hair often styled in a short bob. Her gold or light brown eyes feature distinctive golden flecks, reflecting her lively personality. Born March 3 under the Pisces sign with blood type O, her defining trait is perceiving the "colors" of music. This synesthesia manifests as visual imagery guiding her movements, allowing instinctive execution of complex dance sequences even as a beginner.

Her optimistic and cheerful disposition is captured in her catchphrase "Happy Naru!". Inherently friendly and persistent, she reaches out to others despite initial rejections and demonstrates perceptiveness about their emotions. However, she becomes emotionally distressed to the point of tears when unable to see music's colors. A self-described airhead, she excels at decorating ("deco-ing") objects and environments, though this passion often leaves her personal spaces disorganized.

Naru auditions for Harajuku's Prism Stone to gain experience for her Dear Crown dream. During her first Prism Show evaluation, she forgets the choreography until an external voice guides her to trust her musical perception. Her performance culminates in a Prism Live using a pink electric guitar materialized by her Pair Friend Lovelin—a penguin-like companion hatched from an egg in her bag. Though overshadowed by another performer's four consecutive jumps, Naru is unexpectedly hired as Prism Stone's manager.

As manager, she recruits classmates Ann Fukuhara for the Sweets Corner and Ito Suzuno for the Makeup Corner. Ito initially resists collaboration, but Naru's persistence and Lovelin's influence eventually unite them. This trio forms the idol unit Happy Rain♪, its name combining Rinne, Ann, Oto, and Naru's initials. "Rain" embodies their belief that "No rain, No rainbow"—sadness precedes happiness. Naru's leadership and vision drive the unit's formation and Prism Stone's early successes, like their origami-themed Easter event.

Naru evolves from an insecure novice to a determined performer, seriously competing in the Dreaming Session tournament to support Ann. Inspired by Bell Renjoji, her dream expands beyond shop management to creating Prism Shows that bring audiences joy. Emotionally, she navigates hinted feelings for Kouji Mihama, who composes her signature song "Heart Dreams Of Various Colors." Though tearful after facilitating Kouji's relationship with Ito, she moves past this heartbreak. Ultimately, she resigns from Prism Stone to fulfill her original goal as Dear Crown's new manager and figurehead, replacing June.

In the *All Star Selection* compilation series, Naru mentors Laala Manaka alongside Aira Harune and Mia Ageha. She recounts pivotal experiences—her Prism Stone audition and Ann's competition against Wakana Morizono—to impart lessons on overcoming insecurity ("break the wall of your heart") and maintaining self-belief ("always be herself"). These segments frame rebroadcasted *Rainbow Live* episodes, positioning Naru as a resilient guide exemplifying growth.

Her cross-franchise appearances include joining the legendary unit Saints in the *PriPara* universe, performing alongside Mia, Aira, and others. She retains her *Rainbow Live* Seventh Coord Lovely Dress Platinum Style as her Cyalume Coord in this iteration.
