Description
Hime Shirayuki, originally named Himelda Window Cure Queen of the Blue Sky, is the princess of the Blue Sky Kingdom. Hearing a sad voice from Axia, she opened it, inadvertently freeing the Phantom Empire, which conquered her kingdom. To save her homeland, she transforms into the Pretty Cure warrior Cure Princess. Her initial timidity and fear caused struggles in battle, including attempts to flee, leading her to Earth seeking a partner.

Portrayed as initially spoiled, selfish, and obsessed with fashion, she possesses a dramatic imagination. Shyness hindered her ability to form friendships before meeting Megumi Aino. She resides at an embassy in Pikarigaoka with the Earth's spirit, Blue, and the fairy Ribbon, attending Pikarigaoka Public Academy as a transfer student. Her character development focuses on overcoming fear and self-centeredness through her bond with Megumi. This partnership begins when Hime throws the Crystal of Love, designating Megumi as Cure Lovely. Their relationship helps Hime open up, gain confidence, and value teamwork, marked by moments like holding hands, blushing at Megumi's flirtatious comments, creating an anniversary cake others liken to a wedding, and experiencing jealousy when Megumi interacts with others.

Her growth extends to classmates like Yūko Ōmori; she runs into Yūko's arms for candy, clings to her for lunchboxes, and shyly accepts honey candies. She reacts shyly to compliments, such as from Kaori Aino, and expresses gratitude to allies like Cure Fortune. Her belief that "every girl is like a sparkling gem" reflects her evolving empathy. A subplot involves a temporary crush on Seiji Sagara, causing worry about rivaling Megumi. She resolves this by choosing to support their relationship, finding greater happiness in their mutual bond.

As Cure Princess, she embodies courage and commands wind-based powers. She transforms using the Pretty Change Mirror and PreCards, wielding the LovePreBrace as her primary weapon. She accesses alternate forms: Sherbet Ballet for ice attacks and Macadamia Hula Dance for nature-based abilities. She later achieves an Innocent Form resembling Japanese idols, activated by resolve to protect someone cherished. In battle, she collaborates in group attacks like the Innocent Purification using the Shining Make Dresser. Her design incorporates circles, moons, suns, and feathers, featuring blue as the primary color. She introduces herself: "The blue wind dancing in the sky! Cure Princess!"

Her motivations include restoring the Blue Sky Kingdom and atoning for freeing the Phantom Empire. Collecting PreCards is central, as gathering enough can grant a wish. By the series' conclusion, she demonstrates courage, fighting resolutely alongside her team beyond her initial cowardice. Her journey emphasizes responsibility, friendship, and self-acceptance.
