Naoya Yūki is an elementary school student with short, disheveled brown hair and dark brown eyes, typically dressed in a white long-sleeve shirt and plain blue pants. He bears the ability to see and interact with ghosts, a trait he despises as a curse and actively seeks to cure. His path crosses with Himeji Wakaba when the creature Pupipo finds and embraces him, triggering dreams where Pupipo heals him and erases his ghost-seeing ability. Driven by these dreams and the hope of a cure, he approaches Wakaba’s home alongside Reiko Azuma to discuss his condition and collaborate on eliminating the unwanted ability. Their shared experience of seeing spirits forges a bond with Wakaba, who similarly endures isolation from supernatural perceptions, compelling their joint efforts to confront the challenges of their abilities.
