Description
Hibiki Hōjō is a 14-year-old Japanese girl with orange hair and blue eyes who excels in sports like judo, baseball, and track and field, often helping school clubs prepare intensely for competitions. Her fierce competitiveness drives her to avoid losing at all costs. Despite her athletic prowess, she adores sweets, frequently sparking arguments by taking cakes from her friend Kanade's Sweets Club—a habit that underscores their stubborn yet deeply bonded friendship.
Both her parents are professional musicians: her father a renowned conductor and composer, her mother a celebrated violinist. Their frequent international absences left Hibiki alone for long periods, though she concealed her loneliness behind cheerfulness. She once played piano with exceptional skill but abandoned it after misinterpreting her father's criticism as harsh, later revealed as a misunderstanding. Music remained vital to her connection with Kanade, including a shared memory of singing in an old church.
