Movie
Description
Makoto Kenzaki hails from the Trump Kingdom, where she served as a royal guard protecting Princess Marie Ange. Their duty was shattered by a Jikochuu invasion, forcing a desperate escape to Earth. An attack led by Bel during this flight separated Makoto from the princess, compelling her to search Japan alone.

To aid her search discreetly, Makoto adopted the identity of a human middle school student and launched a pop idol career under the stage name "Makopi." Her debut single sold over a million copies in its first week, propelling her to prominence. She performed first as a street singer, then on television programs, leveraging her popularity to scan vast audiences for Marie Ange. Her appearance features dark purple eyes, short violet hair often secured by a lilac clip, and a civilian outfit of a white shirt, black tie, long lavender vest, khaki shorts, and white boots.

Initially operating independently as Cure Sword, Makoto was driven by guilt over Trump Kingdom's fall. She expressed reluctance to form bonds, especially with Mana Aida (Cure Heart) and her Pretty Cure team, believing solitude minimized civilian risk. This stance caused friction with Mana, though Makoto gradually acknowledged the team's capabilities after witnessing their dedication against the Jikochuu. Her Cure Sword transformation alters her appearance significantly: her hair lightens to lilac and extends into a ponytail secured by a winged hairpiece. Her combat attire is a lilac dress with asymmetrical winged sleeves, a heart-shaped brooch featuring a spade motif, and thigh-length boots.

Key events shaped her development. She earned the Purple Royal Crystal during a theatrical production where she overcame professional rivalry and embraced her dual responsibilities as idol and warrior. Later, career doubts surfaced after criticism from Aguri Madoka (Cure Ace), but Makoto reaffirmed her commitment to performing, encouraged by a vision of Princess Marie Ange. Her relationship with the princess evolved upon discovering Marie Ange had transformed into the infant fairy Ai; though initially resistant to this form, Makoto eventually accepted it. She also reconciled with Regina, whom she initially blamed for Trump Kingdom's destruction, after Regina demonstrated genuine change by saving Mana.

In *Pretty Cure All Stars New Stage 3: Eien no Tomodachi*, Makoto participates as part of the DokiDoki! Pretty Cure team with Mana, Rikka, Alice, and Aguri. The film involves a collective effort to rescue children trapped in a dream world by the fairy Māmu. Makoto appears in group scenes and battles, contributing to combined attacks like the "Pretty Cure Collaboration Punch, New Stage!" alongside other Cures. The ensemble nature of the film places narrative emphasis on the HappinessCharge Pretty Cure team and new characters like Yumeta, offering no unique character moments or development specific to Makoto within this storyline.

Following the restoration of Trump Kingdom and Marie Ange's peaceful departure, Makoto continued her music career as an internationally recognized celebrity. She maintained her role as Cure Sword, participating in final battles to protect Earth, such as preventing a satellite crash. Her journey concluded with an acknowledgment of personal growth through friendship and acceptance of past regrets.
