Description
Kate Hoshimiya, alias Lady Venera, leads the global domination-seeking organization Zvezda. She presents as a young girl with lilac or silver hair styled in upward-pointing locks resembling horns and striking red eyes. She constantly carries Galaktika, a stuffed rabbit-like monster functioning as both companion and tactical weapon. Her transformation costume features high heels, metal gloves, and a midriff-baring design with an eye-shaped mask.

Her origins lie in the ancient Udogawan civilization, where she was a princess gifted the magical artifact Galaktika by a priest. This artifact granted her the power to manifest desires into reality but also inflicted an immortality curse, halting her physical aging and binding her to a perpetual childhood form. The curse compels her pursuit of world conquest as a potential means to break it. This longevity explains her leadership of Zvezda across millennia, with ties to ancient ruins and civilizations.

Despite her youthful appearance, Kate possesses a resolute, charismatic personality, unwavering in her ideology of world conquest through persuasion and strategic influence. She deeply values familial bonds, symbolized by a poster in Zvezda's dining room declaring anyone sharing a meal there as family, reflecting her view of members as a surrogate family. She shows genuine care, mitigating punishments and offering small comforts like lollipops. However, she harbors intense disdain for smoking, dedicating an entire episode to waging war against smokers and enforcing strict anti-tobacco measures. Her charisma inspires loyalty from diverse members, including former gangsters and scientists, who follow her out of admiration, fear, or gratitude for rescue.

Her abilities center on Galaktika, which summons a colossal mechanical arm for combat, and her "Conquest Execution" or "Venera Method of Persuasive Conquest." This power sways receptive individuals with human hearts, but resistant minds remain unaffected. She also generates potent energy barriers capable of deflecting heavy artillery. Her tactical ingenuity is demonstrated in battles, such as using gymnastic maneuvers to topple a giant robot.

Key relationships define her journey: she recruits Asuta Jimon (Dva) after encountering him while riding a bicycle with training wheels, developing an affectionate bond, nicknaming him "Jimi," and later enrolling as his classmate. Itsuka Shikabane (Lady Plamya) shows fervent devotion bordering on amorous admiration, which Kate tolerates though occasionally discomfited. Her connection with Goro Shikabane (General Pepel), a former yakuza leader, exemplifies her influence; he acknowledges her as the only one capable of defeating him.

She faces opposition from the government-contracted White Light, though the conflict evolves into an alliance against the Tokyo Governor—Asuta’s father—whose authoritarian motives threaten the city. Kate's leadership shines during crises like the destruction of Zvezda’s base. Her ID card lists her birthdate as February 30th, an enigmatic detail underscoring her otherworldly existence. Her enduring quest to conquer the world remains intertwined with her desire to forge connections and end her ageless solitude.
