Description
Yukimura is an anthropomorphic firearm originating from a Japanese matchlock rifle historically wielded by military commander Sanada Nobushige during the Siege of Osaka. He embodies the rifle Nobushige reportedly dropped while attempting to fire upon Tokugawa Ieyasu during the summer campaign of 1615. This event profoundly influences him, leaving him haunted by the regret of failing to protect Nobushige at that crucial moment. This failure drives his commitment to embody the bushido spirit and honor his master's legacy. He frequently expresses admiration for Nobushige, calling him "Japan's greatest general ever," and strives to emulate his ideals of loyalty and courage.
Physically, Yukimura appears as a young male, 170 cm tall and weighing 55 kg. He has short, dark brown hair styled in a slightly choppy, messy manner and typically wears a thick red headband across his forehead. His expressions often feature a wide grin or a bold smirk, reflecting his energetic nature. His initial combat statistics are an attack power of 270, an evasion capability of 330, and an accuracy rating of 310.
Personality-wise, Yukimura exhibits a boisterous and determined demeanor. He openly acknowledges his past failure but consciously chooses action over regret, channeling his energy into fighting alongside others against oppression. He strongly identifies with bushido and desires to prove himself worthy of Nobushige's legacy. His interests include reading military manuals, and he lists rice balls as a preferred food.
Functionally classified as a "Noble Musketeer," Yukimura is an incarnation of an antique firearm manifested to resist the World Empire's rule in a dystopian future. As a repeater rifle, he can fire up to eight bullets within ten seconds. He can activate a special combat mode known as "Absolute Noble" or "Supreme Nobility," enhancing his capabilities in battle. His relationship with the player character, the "Master," is characterized by loyalty and dedication, a common trait among Noble Musketeers. His narrative consistently revolves around his historical connection to Nobushige and his commitment to fighting for freedom alongside the Master.
