Description
Drum Bunker Dragon, formally titled Fang Slade Terrestrial XIV, hails from Dragon World as the son of Drum Clan chief Fang Slade Terrestrial XIII. This heritage burdens him with inherent expectations to uphold his family's legacy, fueling early self-doubt and a relentless drive to prove his worth, especially against his father's formidable reputation as a warrior who subdued kingdoms.

Initially impulsive and stubborn, he resisted accepting Gao Mikado as his buddy, engaging in petty disputes like arguments over pudding and refusing to fully acknowledge their partnership or allow Gao to use his buddy skill. Witnessing Gao's protective actions, such as shielding him from an attack by "Wolf," began shifting his perspective toward respect. However, intense feelings of inadequacy surfaced during tournaments like the ABC Cup, where perceived lack of contribution triggered a crisis of confidence, culminating in a decision to depart for rigorous training across multiple worlds to seek greater strength and understand teamwork.

This training journey profoundly shaped him. Returning to Dragon World saw his father deem him unprepared, prompting further disciplined training across dimensions. Experiences in parallel worlds, including leadership lessons alongside Hero World allies, fostered deeper empathy for Gao's role. This phase unlocked adaptable combat forms tied to different worlds: Dungeon World manifested as "Brave, Drum," Magic World as "Dragowizard Magician Drum," and Dragon World evolved into "Thunder Knights, Drum Bunker Dragon." Mastery of his sun-themed hoverboard buddy skill emerged during a life-threatening fall, activated through mutual trust with Gao. Further evolution occurred during confrontations, like against his father, achieving "Super Armordragon, Drum Breaker Dragon," symbolizing personal growth and reconciliation of familial expectations.

Later responsibilities tested his maturity. Temporarily ascending as the Fifth Omni Dragon Lord involved commanding the skeptical Fifth Omni Cavalry Dragons. He navigated their distrust—particularly Alliot's resentment of his privileged background—by demonstrating selfless intent, vowing to hold the title only until the rightful Omni Lord's rescue. This period included battling corrupted Inverse Omni Lords and supporting Gao during global threats like the emergence of Yamigedo. After these events, he relinquished the Omni Lord position, returned to Dragon World, and eventually succeeded his father as clan chief before the events of *Triple D*.

Core relationships defined his trajectory: a turbulent bond with Gao evolved into unwavering loyalty; a complex dynamic with his father shifted from seeking validation to mutual respect; alliances with figures like Qinus Axia and the Cavalry Dragons reinforced cooperation. His appearance reflected these changes—beginning with standard red Armordragon features and golden armor, then integrating forms like turquoise "Crimson Battler" gear and an Omni Lord state with a ronin-inspired aesthetic and katana. Persistent traits included fierce protectiveness, resilience in adversity, and a gradual embrace of responsibility beyond personal glory.
