Description
Tsukikage is a ninja warrior clad in black and silver armor, his helmet bearing a moon symbol and his attire completed by a red cape. He maintains a strict personal vow of silence as part of his ninja discipline, communicating non-verbally through scrolls often prefaced with "Nin!" to signal his messages. However, he demonstrates the capacity to override this vow and speak when critical circumstances demand it, revealing exceptional willpower.

His defining characteristic is profound loyalty, particularly to his designated buddy, Zanya Kisaragi, and the Kisaragi brothers. This loyalty drives his actions, such as investigating Magoroku Shido during the ABC Cup at Zanya's request. Through this investigation, he uncovered Shido's kidnapping of Genma Todoroki and theft of the "Koryuken" deck. He relayed this intelligence via note to the Seifukai and assisted Zanya in reclaiming the deck. Following Zanya's severe defeat by Genma, Tsukikage carried his unconscious comrade away, shedding a tear that revealed deep emotional investment.

A pivotal moment occurred when Elf Kabala's mind control affected him. The strength of his bond with Zanya partially shattered this control, enabling him to verbally defy Kabala to protect the Kisaragi brothers – explicitly breaking his silence rule for their sake, underscoring his commitment.

In combat, Tsukikage employs nanomachine-based abilities. His signature technique, "Nanomachine Body Replacement," acts as a pseudo-Soulguard. This Continuous ability allows him to discard a non-monster card from his hand to prevent his own destruction or removal from the field. It resolves without requiring a Play Timing and cannot be countered once triggered, granting significant resilience against repeated destruction attempts.

He engages in significant battles, including a dedicated ninja showdown against Byakuya during the Hundred season. His role frequently involves strategic support and reconnaissance for Zanya beyond direct combat.
